Planning a birthday party or baby shower on Punchbowl? You can add a Greatest Gift registry to your invitation so family and friends can give toward your child's future.
Punchbowl has a built-in option for linking gift registries. Once you've added your link, guests can open your child's gifting page, choose an amount, and leave a personal message.
Here's how to set it up.
First, create a free Greatest Gift registry for your child. Add a photo and the goals you'd like loved ones to help with, such as college savings or a head start on investing. Then copy your registry's shareable link.
These steps use Punchbowl's Add a Gift Registry feature.
1. Open your invitation's Invitation Options page.
2. Select the Advanced Features tab.
3. Find Add a Gift Registry and turn it on.
4. Paste your Greatest Gift registry link.
5. Click Add.
On iOS or Android, open Options, find Add a Gift Registry under Advanced, and tap the green Add a Gift Registry button. Paste your link and tap Add Registry.
Guests can access your registry through View Gift Registry after they RSVP, or through Send a Gift below the invitation.
Their gift is completed on Greatest Gift. You can keep using Punchbowl to manage the invitation and RSVPs.
Keep it warm, simple, and optional. A short note explaining what the gifts are for can help guests understand why you've included a registry. For more examples, see our guide to asking for money as baby shower gifts.
For a birthday, try:
We're so excited to celebrate Emma with you! If you'd like to give a gift, we've included an option to contribute toward her future through Greatest Gift.
For a baby shower:
We can't wait to welcome our little one with you! Alongside the baby essentials, we've included an option to help give our baby a head start financially through Greatest Gift.
If your family has set up gift matching, you can add:
Our family is also matching gifts to make an even bigger impact while the matching offer is available.
Punchbowl also offers Request Contributions through PayPal and Venmo. That can be useful for collecting money from guests. Our comparison of Greatest Gift, Venmo, and Zelle explains the differences for kids' money gifts.
Greatest Gift helps family and friends see what they're contributing toward, with your child's photo, goals, and a place to leave a personal message.
A birthday gift can help start a college fund, grow their savings, or support another goal you've chosen. Planning a first birthday? Our first birthday registry guide has more ideas.
With GG+, you can also add gift matching and monthly gifts. Those tools can help a celebration have an impact well beyond the party.
Imagine a grandparent offers to match birthday gifts toward your child's future. You can mention that offer in your invitation so guests know their generosity can go further.
A $25 gift could become $50 toward your child's goals with an active dollar-for-dollar match and enough matching funds remaining.
A birthday can also be the moment a loved one decides to start a monthly gift.
For example, an aunt who wants to contribute $20 a month would give $240 over a year. GG+ makes it possible to set up those monthly gifts through your child's registry.
Keep the cake, the party games, and the presents your child is excited to unwrap. Adding a Greatest Gift registry simply gives loved ones another meaningful option.
Create your free Greatest Gift registry, add the link to Punchbowl, and let your next celebration help build toward your child's future.
I love how easy it is to give a meaningful gift to the kids and tots in my life!
It means a lot to me that I can contribute to their future, and Greatest Gift makes the experience seamless and fun.

Our son just turned two. We created his gifting page with Greatest Gift and shared it on the birthday evite. The results were amazing! We received 12 gifts that will be going to his college fund and savings.
Love this platform.

We have a 2-year-old and another baby on the way, and we love Greatest Gift’s discover section. I look forward to learning about the right financial tools to help build their future and set them up for success financially.
